Hi Everyone!

Just a quick update on a few things. First, it was great to see everyone at the beach Sunday! If you would like to listen to the message from that morning, you can find it HERE. That will be our last outdoor service for the year. Our next in-person get together will be back at the Community Center on October 25th! More details about what that will look like and how we will do it will be coming.

THIS SUNDAY, we will be back online live on FaceBook. We will be concluding the Super-8 series on Jesus’ Beatitudes. I really want to encourage you to join with some other people and watch it together. It’s a great way to keep the fellowshipping in our fellowship. Plus, starting October 11th I’ll start making discussion questions available that will go along with the weekly message. If you would like to join someone but don’t know where to start, please let me know and I will get you connected with someone. We’ve got some logistics to work out, and as we do I hope this will become smoother for everyone. I recorded a video message with more information about how we plan to move forward HERE.

Hey, we have a couple of special study groups that are already running, and this Thursday there is a NEW group starting. Check out the details below:

Ladies Study – Mondays 7:00 pm via Zoom – Eileen Cramer leads a ladies fellowship and study each week via Zoom. The topics change all the time, so there’s no better time to join in than now! – Contact Eileen at eileen@svclegacy.syvee.com for more details.

Freedom Series – Tuesdays 7:30 pm via Zoom – Christ has accomplished a complete work of deliverance for all who come to believe and understand what Jesus redeemed us from and what that really means in our day to day lives. Jesus wasn’t kidding when He said, “It is finished!” Join us for this series by Pastor Dan Mohler online via zoom to discover real, lasting freedom from wrong thinking and strongholds and a worldly perspective that we’ve all grew up with and carried for so long. Through the Bible in 90 Days – Wednesdays 8 pm via Zoom – Dave and Amy Mueller (Feed Them Ministries) are kicking off a virtual group that will read through the entire Bible in 90 days! Are you up for the challenge? The group starts reading on their own THIS THURSDAY with Genesis 1:1 through Exodus 40:38. SVC will be hosting more virtual gatherings and communicating electronically much more than we usually do. We are going to use every tool we have available to stay as connected with each other as possible. One of the ways we will do that is through Facebook. Tithes and Offerings

We have three options for receiving your tithes and offering.

ONLINE – This is the easiest of options and is done through our website HERE. Alternately if you use online banking to make direct transfers, we can supply you with our routing number and account number. Please contact Chris or Bryan for that information if you need it.

MAIL – Please use a secure envelope and additionally, a piece of white paper wrapped around your check and mail to:

IN-PERSON – Finally, if you want to deliver it in person, the best way is to come to my house at 1930 Durham Rd in Guilford. Please, if you are giving cash make sure it is in an envelope and make sure I am home to receive it. We will sign the outside of the envelope together with the amount noted and I will get it to Bryan.
